 ** 2008 Registration **

Walk in registration dates have passed but mail in registration will be accepted until April 8th.

Coaches, please provide a copy of your drivers license and completed background form to your level coordinator.

**Attention 2008 7th & 8th Graders **

Do you want to play spring baseball?  If so, contact Mike Thomas, Jerry Folman or Brad Johnston.  The spring season will start around April 1st and play thru the end of May.  This league is not associated with Hermantown Schools.

** Equipment Changes**

HBA is making a major equipment purchase.  All leagues will see some new gear and the MINORS and MAJORS will be issued individual team equipment bags.  Please help us out and take care of the new gear.

**MINOR League changes**

Note to parents of 8 year old players

 The Minor League level (8, 9 & 10 year olds) has changed this year.  We will start the season by using the pitching machine and will gradually progress to live pitching sometime around mid-season.  If you or your child are not comfortable with this, you have the option of playing at the Rookie League level (coach pitch).

**T-Ball League**

T-Ball is open to 4 and 5 year olds this year.  Participants must be four years old by April 30th to be eligible to play.  Send in your registration by April 8th.

**Fichtner Field Improvements**

The City of Hermantown will be replacing the backstop on field 1.  This project is tentatively scheduled for the end of May.

New dugouts will be constructed on field 3.  They will be located along the 1st and 3rd baselines.  Volunteers will be needed for this project.  Contact a Board member if you can help.

The bullpen pitcher mounds on field 1 will be rebuilt as soon as weather permits.

Criminal Background Checks are mandatory for any volunteer in the Little League Association.  Please complete the form and provide a copy of your drivers license to your level coordinator.

All-Star Teams

 All-Star players will be nominated and voted on by Coaches.  Games through June 15th will be used to evaluate the player's ability.
